Hot Tubs and Trampolines

Hot Tubs and Trampolines is the creative energy of a 6 piece ensemble. Inspired by everything from Michelangelo to Micro Chips, we aim to create theatre to laugh effect and inspire. Our focus on creation and experimentation, through contemporary writing, physical and visual performance styles allows our shows to cross traditional boundaries of both age and culture.

Hot tubs and Trampolines Theatre Company, has been joined by Andy Maddock as our resident writer and Jak Poore who will be composing an original score for our new show "Please Wait Patiently" The show will be opening at the Tabard Theatre, London.

Hot Tubs and Trampolines have been awarded the Top Up Fund from Ideas Tap. This funding will go towards the development of 'Please Wait Patiently' soon to be performed at the Tabard Theatre later this year. We are so pleased and a big thank you to Ideas Tap for believing and seeing potential in our work.

When a suitcase is opened to reveal a lifetime of love letters between a mystery couple, heads and hearts begin to turn. Join Hot Tubs and Trampolines in a pen and paper love story for a twitter generation and explore what lies behind the precious, plastic and purposefully left. Is it better to have loved and lost or spent a lifetime patiently waiting?

Timmy Mallett once used the toilets of the Mermaid cafe! But empty seats attract empty people, in a city where everyone is constantly searching for their someone. What is it to be lonely? What's behind the pasta promises and facebook facade? Window seat madam? Take Table 23!! 'Table 23' is set in the humdrum yet monotone life of a backstreet Italian restaurant in London, and takes a look at people passing through.

Seen through the eyes of one lonely man, the lives of his fellow others appear mesmerising and spectacular, a far cry from his own. But who can define loneliness?

The stories are told through a mish mash of physical and visual work, incorporating elements of clowning, puppetry and acrobats, fused with moments of truth, honesty, and vulnerability.
